A strong group seven riders made the day's break: Simon Carr, Alexis Gougeard, Sander De Pestel, Thibault Guernalec, Jonas Abrahamsen, Thomas Gachignard and Théo Delacroix. They were caught by a determined peloton at 13KM to go. A late move by Marco Brenner went clear at 5KM to go but was caught near the red kite. Mads Pedersen won the sprint ahead of Milan Menten and Rasmus Tiller.
