Tour de France 2023 Stage 16

The GC was locked at 10 seconds going into the ITT. Much of the pre race talk was on who would edge a few seconds here or there, and if anyone would make a bike change for the Côte de Domancy climb. As the race unfolded, Rémi Cavagna set the fastest time and had the hot seat for two and half hours. Then came Wout van Aert to take top seat. It was Tadej Pogačar next, making a bike swap and putting over a minute into van Aert. None of it mattered in the end because Jonas Vingegaard blitzed the bunch and won by one minute and thirty eight seconds. He wears yellow a lot more comfortably but with some big days ahead.
