Giro d'Italia 2023 Stage 11

219KM saw the riders take on the longest stage of this year's race. A group of six broke off early but the stage was queued up to be a sprint. Before that could happen however, a fall at the front of the peloton on a wet decent saw a number of big riders come down, but none worse than Tao Geoghegan Hart. He was forced to abandon in what looked to be his best form since he won the race in 2020. A crash around 2KM from the end took down a few riders but that didn't reduce the speed at the font. As the group came around the final corner and to the line, Pascal Ackerman was the fastest but in a photo finish with ciclomino jersey wearer Jonathan Milan.
