Richard Carapaz had one last swing in him to try and take the Overall GC. With 15KM to go, Carapaz attacked and no one could follow. He put in 10 seconds quickly but it was pulled back together on the decent into Bogotá. Jhonatan Restrepo won the sprint with Carapaz in second and Rodrigo Contreras holding on to take the victory Overall.
