Tour de la Provence 2024 Stage 4

February 11, 2024 Breakaway riders Luca De Meester, Fabien Grellier, Kenny Molly, Kévin Avoine, and Alexis Guerin faced another grim day and were caught by the wind-split peloton at 45KM to go. The lead group whittled down as they approached the finish and only thirteen riders finished on even time. Mads Pedersen started his sprint quite early and eventually faded to finish fifth but kept the leader's jersey to win Overall. Coming off his wheel was Sam Bennett of Decathlon AG2R and in the few meters, Tom Van Asbroeck accelerated to pip Bennett for his first win in a number of years.
