Tour of Oman 2024 Stage 3

February 12, 2024 The weather conditions forced this third stage to be shortened as well, making the finish an uphill sprint of around 700M. It was much steeper than many expected, so timing was crucial. Riders were spread all across the road until about 150M remaining. At that moment, it was Paul Magnier leading with Luke Lamperti and Bryan Coquard dualing for second. Lamperti nudged ahead of Coquard for second place and took the race lead in the process. Magnier was meant to be leading out he teammate Lamperti but kept the pace so high that no one was able to come around.
