On the flat road leading into the Montjuic circuit, Jimmy Janssens of Alpecin-Deceuninck, Georg Steinhauser of EF Education-Easypost, Harrison Ward of Cofidis, Idar Andersen of Uno-X Mobility, and Ander Okamika of Burgos-BH got away to make the break of the day. On the circuit, Marc Soler of UAE and Valentin Paret-Peintre of Decathlon AG2R attacked to bridge to break. With 28KM to go, the front riders had broken up and Steinhauser was off solo. Soler and Paret-Peintre were caught, then Steinhauser was also brought back. Tadej Pogačar of UAE and Stephen Williams of Israel-Premier Tech both tried to get way but the speed was high and small group formed. No one was able to get away for any length of time and it would come down to a bunch sprint. Pogačar was fastest to the line, taking his fourth win of the week. Dorian Godon of Decathlon AG2R took second with Guillaume Martin of Cofidis in third.
