Filippo Ganna of Ineos won in a reduced bunch sprint ahead of Diego Ulissi of UAE and Brandon Rivera of Ineos. It was announced after the stage that André Drege of Coop-Repsol tragically passed away after a crash on a descent. The final stage of the race was cancelled.
