The breakaway had their day to shine. Jelte Krijnsen of Parkhotel Valkenburg went solo from his breakaway companion Anton Stensby of Coop-Repsol with 6KM to go to take his first professional win. Stensby took second place, 6 seconds ahead of Tobias Lund Andresen of DSM-Firmenich who led the peloton home for third place. The GC remained the same with just one flat stage remaining.
