Manuele Tarozzi of VF Group-Bardiani-CSF-Faizanè and Stephan De Bod of EF-Education EasyPost survived from the early break to contest the stage in a two up sprint. Tarozzi had the legs to take the win with De Bod taking second. Arvid De Kleijn of Tudor Pro Cycling led the bunch home for third, just 9 seconds down.
