Time gaps were huge at the end of the day with tenth place on the stage being 3 minutes 23 seconds behind the winner, Iván García Cortina of Bahrain Victorious. Julius Johansen of UAE-XRG was second at just 1 second with Marc Soler in third at 41 seconds. Pre-race leader Steff Cras of TotalEnergies did not finish the stage which give Soler the GC going into Stage 3.
