June 1, 2025 The run from Javron-les-Chapelles to Laval was supposed to be a sprint but Marius Mayrhofer of Tudor Pro Cycling had other ideas. The German spent over 100KM alone in the break and survived to take the victory by 36 seconds. Biniam Girmay of Intermarché-Wanty won the field sprint for yet another second place, his fourth in just over 3 weeks. Bryan Coquard rounded out the podium, giving Cofidis a third place. There were no changes in GC which means that Aaron Gate of XDS-Astana held on to win the overall on countback to Pierre Latour of TotalEnergies with Thibaud Gruel of Groupama-FDJ in third place.
