There were finally some time gaps taken today on the 232KM stage to Gonghe. The 6KM, 7% Luohe Pass topped out 39KM from the finish and a group of seven got away. The sprint at the finish line was won by Henok Mulubrhan of XDS-Astana in front of Guillermo Thomas Silva of Caja Rural-Seguros RGA and Mulubrhan's teammate, Harold Martín López. Thomas Silva still holds the race lead 4 seconds over Mulubrhan.
