Tour of Magnificent Qinghai 2025 Stage 8

July 13, 2025 Alexander Salby of Li Ning Star was the first rider to take multiple sprints, winning the final stage around Xihaizhen. Manuel Peñalver of Polti-VisitMalta took second with Aaron Gate of XDS-Astana in third. Henok Mulubrhan of XDS-Astana and Guillermo Thomas Silva of Caja Rural-Seguros RGA were fighting for the overall and the latter was relegated in the sprint from 5th to 99th. It did not matter however because Mulubrhan picked up another bonus second over Thomas Silva in an intermediate sprint which gave him a winning overall margin of 2 seconds.
