Stage 2 from Bischofshofen to St. Johann Alpendorf took the riders North towards Salzburg. The route mostly played on the valley roads but the climb to the finish was tough at 2.4KM and averaged 7%. Even with the climb, a large group of 24 riders came to line together and the stage was won by Isaac del Toro of UAE-XRG. Andrew August of Ineos took second with Héctor Álvarez of Lidl-Trek in third.
